다람쥐 한 마리

여름에 숨겨놓은 도토리 찾느라

애써 가꾼 화단을 온통 파헤치더니

무언가 오물오물 씹다 훌쩍 사라졌다

 

다람쥐 두 마리

뒤뜰 잔디 위에서 숨바꼭질하며 놀고 있다

아마도 맛있는 것 혼자 먹기 미안해서

친구를 초대해서 饗宴을 베풀 모양이다

 

과거에 갇힌 어린 소녀의 마음은

그들의 잔치에 끼어들어 같이 즐기고 싶은데

현실의 벽에 부딪힌 중년 아줌마의 마음

 

Feast of the Squirrels

 

A squirrel

Looking for an acorn stashed during summer time

Dig up the flower bed cultivated with tender love

Finally found something to chew then suddenly vanished

 

Two squirrels

Playing hide and seek on the grass at the backyard

The first one must felt sorry to eat the delicious food alone

Invited a friend and threw a banquet in his honor

 

The heart of a young girl trapped in the past

Wants to butt in and enjoy the feast with them, but

The heart of a middle-aged woman facing the wall of reality

Only worries about the destroyed roots of the flower
